Paul Jebely

I like to say that altitude is bought and temporary, but perspective is earned and timeless.

For more than 20 years, I’ve advised the architects of empires, influencers on a planetary scale and builders of multi-billion Dollar fortunes in connection with some of the world's most extraordinary flying machines. In doing so, I’ve also helped shape the legal and commercial framework of an industry that rarely stands still. Among other things, I’m qualified as an attorney in 5 jurisdictions around the world, have led more than $25 billion of deals, founded The Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation, sat on boards (including public), lectured at universities around the world, and advised my clients around the world well beyond aviation itself on the legal, commercial and, increasingly, very human problems that come with complex lives of folks who create and control institutional levels of wealth personally.

My legal work has been recognized and awarded for much of my career. I’ve also written and spoken extensively about both private aviation and private wealth, and my various musings have quoted extensively including by the likes of the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Forbes, The Globe & Mail, and The Times.

That’s the resume. The rest is probably more interesting.

I was born into war, spent part of my childhood as a refugee, and grew up in Canada after my family started again with very little more than what we could carry. Curiosity's since taken me around the world many, many times - as far as the South Pole - and I try to do as much as possible while I’m here. These days, I divide my time between my home in Hong Kong as well as the UAE and the Pacific West Coast. I’m as happy in an Airstream nestled in 30 acres of forest as I am hitching a ride on a Gulfstream to a Paddock somewhere trying to look the part. I like good stories, interesting people, and unfamiliar places.
